Samuel Burbank (1774 - 1816) and Nehemiah Burbank (1777 - 1814) were brothers who were nephews of Lemuel Savery of Plymouth. Recently published research by James Blachowicz (AGS Quarterly - Summer 2000) suggests possibly the Burbank brothers were Savery's apprentices during the early 1790's. After Savery's death about 1796, the Burbanks moved on to other trades. See Lemuel Savery for more background information.
The following gravestones are carved in the style of Savery and some have been attributed to the Burbank brothers. Most of these gravestones also are included in the listing under Savery.
