By her death her parents lost their hope,
the world a promising member.
Dear little darling art thou gone
thy charms scarce to thy parents known.
Removed so soon, so suddenly snatched
from our fond parental eye
what hadst thou done dear daughter say,
so early to be snatched away.
What gone forever seen no more ?
Forever we thy loss deplore;
No we shall not always be apart
from the darling of our heart.
It is God's pleasure the angels shall us bear,
And in a short time place us there,
Where our dear child with praises gloes
And triumph in celestial joys.
