LOCATION - No. NW 4 on EHS 1976 survey map

MATERIAL - slate

HEADSTONE - 14" W, 28" H, 2" D

FOOTSTONE - none

CONDITION - Headstone conserved October 2007.

COMMENTS - Headstone back and edges encased in resin bonded fiberglass applied about 1977. Headstone repaired with motar several years ago. Headstone cleaned, adhesive bonded and reset in July 2002. A major break developed after 2002. In October 2007 the broken stone was excavated and the fiberglass backing was removed. Broken pieces were bonded in place with epoxy adhesive. Mortar was applied to fill all cracks and voids in the front and back. The stone was cleaned and reset.
