MATERIAL - slate
HEADSTONE - 17" W, 20" H, 2" D
FOOTSTONE - 10" W, 10" H, 1" D
CONDITION - diagonal cracks in headstone
COMMENTS - Headstone back and edges encased in resin bonded fiberglass applied about 1977. Footstone cleaned and reset July 2001. Headstone cleaned October 2004. In November 2007 the headstone was excavated and the fiberglass backing was removed. Broken pieces were bonded in place with epoxy adhesive. Mortar was applied to fill all cracks and voids in the front and back. The stone was cleaned and reset.
