In Memory of
Mrs. BETSEY RICH
wife of Mr. John Rich who
died March 24, 1816 in the
76 Year of her age.
This amiable woman was an affection-
ate & faithfull companion; a good mis-
tress, perservering in the discharge
of her duty: beloved & respect'd
in her family & acquaintance; pos-
sessing great fortitude in affliction,
resignation to death, & departed
in peace.
The gravestone displays an urn and willow.
