A winged head with a hair style including a distinctive top knot by the Savery carvers of Plymouth. The gravestone has sunk so part of the inscription is below ground. Exekiel Holbrook (1776) has a similar gravestone. Three Higgins gravestones in Orleans Cem all in deteriorated condition have the same carved image - Sarah Higgins (1774), Samuel Higgins (1776) and James Higgins (1777).
