This is the oldest gravestone in Bridge Road Cemetery. It displays a typical round winged skull from the mid 1700's. Experts indicate the gravestone is carved in the style of the Codner or Emmes carvers of Boston. The left photo shows the headstone with the footstone in the background. The right photo shows the broken footstone.

FOOTSTONE - 11' W, 15" H, 1" D (entire footstone)
CONDITION - lichen growth, footstone broken with inscription missing
COMMENT - Footstone cleaned and reset November 2001. Headstone cleaned September 2004. Headstone and footstone cleaned July 2009.
