The grave marker is a tree stump with heart attached. On top of the stump is a bird whose head is broken off and missing. This stone is next to the gravestone for Elisha G. Peterson who died Jan. 30, 1922 aged 88 years, Sarah F. M. Peterson who died April 30, 1874 aged 38 years and Edith L Peterson, wife of Capt. S. C. Oakes, who died Nov. 27, 1912 aged 53 years.
